ABOUT THE CLUB

Leicester City Football Club is an English Professional football club, which plays in the English Premier League. Known as ‘the Foxes’, the team was founded in 1884 and was welcomed into the Football League in 1984. The team rose to fame in 2015/2016 when they won the English Premier League title. The team’s home is the King Power Stadium in Leicester City, England.

ABOUT THE LOCATION

Leicester is in the East Midlands region of England. The city of Leicester is a cosmopolitan city with a range of shopping and cultural activities. Outside of the city the region is an expanse of countryside and small villages. Leicester is only an hour from London and has an approximate population of 330,000. In 2012 Richard III’s remains were discovered in Leicester and the city is now full of historic references and activities.
