Development Centre Coach JOB TITLE: Development Centre Coach DEPARTMENT: Academy REPORTING TO: Development Centre Coordinator JOB FUNCTION: You will be uniquely placed to help Chelsea FC Academy develop and recruit U6-U8 players in the local community to join Chelsea FC Academy. LOCATION: Lambeth CONTRACT: Casual, 1 session per week.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES (Play Your Part):
Coach at a local U6-U8 Development Centre.
Attend all in-service training.
Minimum FA Level 3 (UEFA B) Football Qualification (We may at times look for assistant coaches with FA Level 2 qualifications).
Valid First Aid & Safeguarding Children certificates.
Working towards FA Youth Module 3/Advanced Youth Award.
To be qualified in Emergency aid/First Aid at Work.
Knowledge of current methods in coaching.
Evidence of the ability to plan coaching sessions.
Experience of coaching players from the Under 6 to Under 8 age groups.
Availability during any (or all) of the following times: Evenings, Weekends, School Holidays.
