The FIFA Federations cup came to an end this month (2nd July) as Germany lifted the trophy after a 1 – 0 defeat over Chile.
Host country Russia held the Confederations Cup, which kicked off on 17th June, ahead of next year's World Cup.
The Federations Cup is an eight-team tournament and is the precursor to the World Cup. It gives the host country an opportunity to test their facilities ahead of the main event.
It features the champions of each confederation - decided through competitions such as the European Championship and Copa America - as well as the World Cup hosts and the reigning world champions.
Spartan, Kazan, Fisht and Krestovsky stadium were all used during the tournament and star players including Cristiano Ronaldo, Alexis Sanchez and Arturo Vidal made appearances.
