Aston Villa Football Club is a professional football club in Aston, Birmingham that plays in the Championship, the second level of English football and is 143 years old. Founded in 1874, they have played at their current home ground, Villa Park, since 1897. Villa club and its fans are also known as Lions, The Claret and Blue, The Villa, Villans.
ABOUT THE LOCATION
Villa Park is situated in Aston, Birmingham, England, and is the home of Arsenal Football Club. With a capacity of over 42,000, The ground is less than a mile from both Witton and Aston railway stations and has hosted sixteen England internationals at senior level, the first in 1899 and the most recent in 2005. Villa Park has hosted 55 FA Cup semi-finals, more than any other stadium.

Aston Villa scholarship programme runs in conjunction with its official UK University Partner, Aston University.
This unique programme, which will be Aston University’s flagship scholarship over the next three years, is open to all international students applying for any undergraduate and one-year postgraduate courses.
Aston Villa scholars will be entitled to discounted tuition fees and access to exclusive Club experiences, giving a rare view into the workings of one of the most prestigious and decorated Clubs in world football – and adding an exciting element to their CVs.
